Every Female-Directed Film Added to Streaming Sites for September 2019

And we're back from a little summer hiatus… Thankfully as we enter the new season, the Criterion Channel has blessed us with a whole lotta Lena Wertmuller (coming up at the end of the end of the month), Claire Denis (I'm going to admit I have yet to watch 35 Shots of Rum; fixing that ASAP), and Euzhan Palcy. Now that we've got major Keanu news (a fourth Matrix film is on the horizon!), it's time to revisit the Wachowski sisters' original trilogy over at Hulu, and I'm really excited Netflix will be offering up Stacie Passon's adaptation of We Have Always Lived in the Castle. Oh, and if you're in the mood to get scared already, Antonia Bird's Ravenous is also streaming on Hulu starting, well, yesterday.
